The author has discovered that few economic students are aware of their learning style, causing inefficient employment of study methods. To solve the problem of learning style awareness, the author prepared and presented an 80-minute lecture on study techniques appropriate for various learning styles. Within this lecture, students first learned their preferred learning style(s) followed by multiple study techniques suitable for each style(s). The study methods were provided in handout form, discussion, and finally illustrated with economic principles.
