Advertising investment in cable television registered a 13% fall to Pesos$183.5mil in 2002, against the Pesos$211mil turned over in this sector in 2001. According to a report of BPCI (Bureau de Publicidad en Cable e Internet), a total of 51.8mil seconds were sold in 2002 against 55.9mil in the previous year, meaning a 7% fall. During 2002 investment in cable TV registered a drastic fall in the first quarters, but in the last quarter investment registered a 27% increase reaching Pesos$77.6mil.
